At The Montessori Approach we are committed to promoting sustainability and facilitating a healthy community and environment. We are enthusiastic when it comes to caring for our environment to ensure a sustainable future for everyone. Through our everyday practices we strive for a better tomorrow, we endeavour to use packaging that is environmentally friendly or that we can recycle & reuse to minimise waste.
We actively participate in caring for our world and promote practices through educating and working with the children, families and wider community. We spend many an hour fossicking through ‘Op Shops’, garages, book shelves and our own homes looking for materials that are both beautiful and remarkable that we can share with you.
We are intentional in our sustainability actions with our emphasis being on reusing and repurposing authentic resources. Where possible, we aim to use natural, recycled and up-cycled items. As stated, many of the items from our collection are based on our local discoveries; meaning the materials are unique and are often one of a kind.
